Hierdoor wordt er dieper gewerkt op de meridianen, het bindweefsel en de spieren.&nbsp;De Yin Yoga poses bestaan voornamelijk uit statische asana\u2019s. Typerend voor deze yogastijl is dat de asana\u2019s lang worden aangehouden, ongeveer 3 tot 5 minuten. Soms zelfs voor 10 minuten. Doordat de Yin Yoga poses voor langere duur worden vastgehouden zorgt dit voor een uitgebreide stretch van de spieren en dieper gelegen lichaamsweefsels. Het bindweefsel wordt met Yin Yoga ook uitgebreid gerekt.<\/p>\n<p>Naast focus op het fysieke lichaam wordt er tijdens deze yogavorm aandachtig stil gestaan bij het onderdeel&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.superyoga.nl\/alles-over-mediteren\/\">meditatie<\/a>. Het lichaam komt zowel mentaal als fysiek in balans. Yin Yoga is een vorm die dus ook zeker effect heeft op onze emoties. Met Yin Yoga oefeningen word je in een diepere staat van mediteren gebracht.<\/p>\n<p>De voordelen van Yin Yoga zijn dat spanning en stress die het lichaam vasthoudt, vrijkomen waardoor je in staat bent om het los te laten. Het gevolg hiervan is dat de&nbsp;<em>Prana<\/em>&nbsp;(levensenergie) en de meridianen weer vrij door het lichaam kunnen stromen. Ondanks het feit dat de Yin Yoga poses langzaam en naar binnen gekeerd zijn, werkt deze yogavorm diep in op het lichaam en moet de yogastijl zeker niet onderschat worden.<\/p>\n<p>Zie hier alle voordelen op een rijtje: <span style=\"word-spacing: normal;\">Stimulatie van lichaamsenergie (Qi); <\/span><span style=\"word-spacing: normal;\">stimulatie van de bloedcirculatie; <\/span><span style=\"word-spacing: normal;\">stress in het lichaam loslaten; <\/span><span style=\"word-spacing: normal;\">balans cre\u00ebren tussen lichaam en geest; <\/span><span style=\"word-spacing: normal;\">versoepelen van het lichaam; <\/span><span style=\"word-spacing: normal;\">kalmeren van je ademhalingsritme; <\/span><span style=\"word-spacing: normal;\">goed voor de organen; <\/span><span style=\"word-spacing: normal;\">vergroten van mentale rust.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Een Yin Yoga practice kan uit allerlei asana\u2019s bestaan die merendeels zittend of liggend worden uitgevoerd. Voor deze yogastijl is het belangrijk om gebruik te maken van de juist hulpmiddelen, zeker als je net begint is het fijn om yoga props te gebruiken om eventuele overbelasting en een blessure te voorkomen. &nbsp;Bij Yin Yoga wordt veel gebruik gemaakt van yoga blokken, bolsters een deken en eventueel een oogkussen.
